Here at Literacy Skills Test, we help all of our students with their studies. We have most recently been helping our learners with their functional skills courses as they have become more popular in recent times. These courses are maths and English GCSE equivalents that are GCSE grade C or level 4. These qualifications are most often used to get into university but are also used to get into a form of higher education. These equivalents are also needed to finish apprenticeships if one has not already obtained a GCSE grade in the relevant subject. If you are looking to apply to the police or onto a nursing course, these functional skills courses will be crucial in getting onto one of those courses.
There are many functional skills course providers out there but you need to make sure they are Ofqual regulated as this may affect the relevance of the qualification. The English and maths courses that we recommend here are always Ofqual regulated to ensure that the qualification will be recognised no matter what you are planning to do next. These courses will give you access to tutorial videos that will explain all of the topics clearly. You will also be given access to all of the exercises and practice questions.
