Functional Skills Initial Assessment

When looking for Functional Skills tools, and resources, there is a lot that you will need to consider. Such as who the provider is, the quality of the product, what version of the curriculum it is based on, and so on. A task that can be daunting for many. So we are here to provide advice and guidance to help you find the perfect products to aid your revision.
An excellent tool that we will be discussing today is the Diagnostic Assessments. A set of 2 tools used at the beginning of your revision. The first is the Functional Skills Initial Assessment. A test designed after the exam to measure your current skill level in the subject. As well as having the added benefit of being used multiple times during the leadup to your exams to track your progress. Showing you exactly what level you are at for that subject. The second tool is the Pre-Assessment Diagnostic Test. Unlike the first tool, this tests your knowledge against the topics in the curriculum. Identifying what topics you are strong/weak in.
By using the Functional Skills initial assessment tools at the beginning of your revision, you will gain an accurate insight into your skill level. Allowing you to focus your revision int he areas that matter. As well as allowing you to track your progress as time goes on.
If you are still unsure if the Diagnostic Assessments are the best choice, then I would also like to inform you that they are entirely free. You can take both tests as often as you like, for as long as you like. As well as being based entirely on the most current curriculum and created by one of the leading providers of Functional Skills exams and materials. So you really can’t go wrong with these tools!
